Sex Blogger : Ex-Girlfriend of Alvin Tan Says "perhaps never again, that the two of us will meet"

"It would be a while, perhaps never again, that the two of us will meet," said Lee.
Lee also said she had been sending Tan text messages and emails ever since he went off the grid, but he did not respond and only heard he was safe and sound when friends who read about it in the news informed her.
She added that she was against the idea of absconding from their trial in the Sessions Court in Kuala Lumpur.

"I don't see the point of living a life on the run.
"We still have a full life ahead of us, and the life as a fugitive wouldn't suit me.
"I was brought up by my parents to face and deal with any issue in front of us, and running away whenever there's trouble isn't a wise approach," said the 25-year-old Lee.

Lee, and the 26-year old Tan, regained temporary possession of their passports on May 18, but only Lee showed up on June 3 to return it.
The Sessions Court has issued a warrant of arrest for Tan and forfeited his RM20,000 bail after he failed to return his passport on Aug 22.
Tan had since resurfaced on Facebook on Sept 26 with posts of himself in Los Angeles, California.

The Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court today issued an arrest warrant for sex blogger Alvin Tan, after he failed to return his passport to court on June 3.
Tan (pic), who together with his partner Vivian Lee face charges under the Film Censorship Act and the Sedition Act over several Facebook posts, had been allowed to travel to Singapore to film a programme on his life story three weeks ago.
On May 12, Sessions Court judge Abdul Rashid Daud allowed the pair to have their passports back until June 3, based on an application by their lawyer Chong Joo Tian.

The prosecution led by deputy public prosecutor Wan Shaharuddin Wan Ladin did not object to the return of the passports, but had asked Tan and Lee not to comment on their trial during the filming of the programme. Chong informed the court today that he was unable to reach Tan, and attempts by Tan's family to contact him had also failed.
Lee meanwhile had complied with the court order and returned her passport on June 3.
Chong later told The Malaysian Insider that he was informed by Lee that the production in Singapore was postponed and did not go on.
"So we don't know where he is really, there are no limitations to where he can travel with the passport.
"We don't know if he is in Singapore," he added.
As such, Chong said he was unsure how the authorities would execute the arrest warrant on Tan.
Last April, the Court of Appeal freed them from a charge of stirring hostility between religions, on grounds that it was not applicable to non-Muslims.
The charge under Section 298 was struck because the court felt the law was meant to ensure the smoothness of the practice of Islam among its followers, not those of other religions.
The pair still face two other charges under the Film Censorship Act and Sedition Act over their controversial "Ramadan greeting" posting last year, containing the words "Selamat Berbuka Puasa (dengan bak kut teh... wangi, enak, menyelerakan)", as well as over their blog's pornographic images.
Following condemnations, the posting was removed and replaced with a picture of them eating ketupat, rendang and curry puffs.
The court fixed July 18 for re-mention pending his arrest. – June 13, 2014.
