Crew Involved In CN235 Emergency Landing Flown To Subang RMAF Base
KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 26 (Bernama) -- The eight crew members who were in the Royal Malaysian Air Force's CN235 aircraft which made an emergency landing near the beach at Kuala Selangor Friday morning have been sent to Subang RMAF base.The RMAF said in a statement that the crew was flown to the base in an EC725 helicopter which landed at 10.18 am.
"The crew members were examined upon arrival by a Malaysian Armed Forces medical doctor," said the statement.
It said the RMAF was now focusing on efforts to retrieve the CN235 from the site and had deployed a special team to the area to control security.
"The RMAF appreciates and thank the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency and residents in the area for providing initial assistance to the crew," the statement said.
The CN235 was carrying a crew of eight when it was reported to have made an emergency landing near Batu 2, Kuala Selangor at 8.50 am.
